Caro is a Brazilian-American writer/director. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University and worked as a McKinsey consultant prior to pursuing filmmaking.

Her short film “Cake” qualified for the Academy Awards after winning the Grand Prize for Best Comedy Short at Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival. It was also an official selection at Mill Valley Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, New Hampshire Film Festival, Dances With Films, Bend Film Festival, Sidewalk Film Festival, and others. Her work has been supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. She is currently developing a feature film with Princess Pictures.
